Louise Campbell to move into

The first impressions of what visitors to the “Das Haus” installation can expect during the trade fair from 13.01. – 19.01.2014 are already remarkable: in the middle of Hall 2.2, two interlinking houses have been erected in Pure Village based on the plans by Danish designer Louise Campbell. The power and water connections, lighting, larch roof shingles and an impressive carpet are ready and waiting. In the course of this week, Louise Campbell will be moving into “her” house at the imm cologne 2014 and bringing numerous furnishing items with her.

It goes without saying that her own products and designs such as the LC Shutters lamps from Louis Poulsen and the Veryround Chair from Zanotta are absolute musts, but the Dane will be carefully integrating furniture and accessories by other designers into her synthesis of the arts as well. There will for instance be an unusual eye-catcher in the spacious living room: a stoneware bathtub that is over 100 years old (kindly loaned from the museum collection of Villeroy & Boch AG). The unusual design event is definitely something for visitors to the imm cologne to look forward to.

The “Das Haus” project is being implemented with the kind support of NCS Colour.
