The new naturalness in design is more than just a trend. “Back to the roots“ is everywhere – once more and in increasing numbers consumers are incorporating natural materials into their living environments with the emphasis on longevity and pieces which age gracefully. Heads of design studio Wiederverwandt (which loosely translates as “Reused”), architect Wibke Schaeffer and designer Moritz Zielke, designer, present current examples from the cool design scene.
Moritz Zielke and Wibke Schaeffer, both born in 1973, founded their Cologne office Wiederverwandt in 2011. Together, designer Zielke and architect Schaeffer offer sustainably and ecologically sound spatial and design concepts. From restaurants, shops and “bio-hotels” through open-plan offices to kitchens for private homes, they develop a complete planning which includes the coordination of all related logistics and the organisation of the actual implementation.
The lecture will take place on Friday, 23-1-2015 at 11:45 am at The Stage, Pure Village, hall 2.2, booth H006.
All lectures will be translated simultaneously into English.
