At the coming imm cologne, the Trend Forum “The Stage” in hall 3.1 will once again be offering exciting topics. The experts on the podium will be providing the audience with an up-to-date overview of current developments and trends from all areas of interior design. In 2017, the programme will take place on the trade visitor days as well as on public days.

General trend lectures play an important part, of course. Alongside an overview of premieres at the fair, which opens the programme each day, no less than four trend experts will shine a spotlight on prevailing influences from different perspectives. In addition, the audience will be given an overview of current trends with regard to colour, materials, function and design. Plenty of room will also be provided at the Forum for more specialist topics, such as sustainability, light, comfort and homeliness in the office. And, to round it all off, renowned designers will give insights into their work.

On the public days, consumers can look forward to useful furnishing tips. They will learn, amongst others, which colours go together well, which wallpapers give a room a homely atmosphere, about the digital potential offered by the bathroom and what an interior says about a person’s psyche. The subject of healthy living will be addressed from the perspective of our bathrooms as private health resorts, and a critical look will be cast on lighting in our homes.

Furthermore, it will be explained in which ways an interior designer can be helpful in creating the desired look and feel of a home. And there is even something especially for singles: because if their home furnishings have previously contributed to their single status, that could all change very quickly after imm cologne 2017.

Further information about the individual lectures can be found here in the blog.
