Pure Talents Contest Nominee Robert Hahn wants a thought visualization machine

German based Robert Hahn is a product and furniture designer. He became a cabinetmaker and now he is studying interior architecture at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle. His work is focused on minimalistic and functional furniture and products.

Why did you become a designer?
I’m still at it, to be one.

Do you still need a pencil as a designer today?
Definitely, yes!

Do you have a role model?
My grandpa.

Does design make you happy?
Me? Yes.

Is there a design world beyond serial production? And if so, how important is it for you?
Yes there is.

What can`t you quit while you are working?
(I can’t do without) roof lath and crepe paper.

What kind of product needs to be invented urgently?
A thought visualization machine.
